Now I’m normally a bit sceptical about certification, but this is a big enough deal to share. This is IBM’s Lean equivalent of a 6Sigma Black Belt — hence the colour. As well as content knowledge and coaching ability, it’s also about stakeholder management and the repeated demonstrated experience of doing it.

Best of all, it’s entirely assessed by Senseis in the Lean CoE, not a commercial certification factory, so it really is awarded with respect.
