A Mike Rother presentation via slideshare.net

If there were a CMMI-like maturity model for Lean, understanding it as “The Elimination of Waste” and all the tool-focused, Kaizen-Blitz-workshop activities would be Level 1.

We need to do so much better at the — admittedly far harder — job of building Lean DNA, which you don’t and can’t do quickly or with one-off ‘transformation’ activities, which just leave your organisation thinking that it’s ‘Done Lean’, where the double meaning in US-English of ‘Done’ is highly applicable.
